2010 Future Hope Mela

The Future Hope Mela is the high point of the year for children and staff alike.  For weeks and months the children are busy creating jewellery, bags and other hand crafts for the stalls as well as preparing songs, dances and plays.  The whole school enjoys a makeover as the children paint murals on every available wall. 

2010 will be no different.  This year's mela will take place in early April and the theme will be SPACE.  Future Hope supporters from all over Kolkata and many from around the world come to enjoy the festivities.

In January the Circus skills troop 'Performers without Borders' has been training the younger children in circus skills which they plan to perform at the Mela.
